Teenage dream! Ahhhh to be young and in love. Sadly for some of us, it just isn't happening right now. After going out to lunch with my floormates, and being in the adorable presence of my floormate and his superduper cute girlfriend, I've been in an "awwww, I want to be cutesy and in love" mood all day. Unfortunately that is not the case. SO, I've been using the internet to feed my addiction of all things lovey dovey and kissy kissy.

WORD VOMIT!

Lately I've been really blog happy and I'm on a posting splurge, too bad theres no readers reading my awesome word vomits! Anyways, I just woke up and it's a bea-U-tiful day in Berkeley...sadly I don't feel like I'm going to be out and about today because I still feel like a lobster. A lobster you ask? At the game yesterday, I got sunburned like I've never been sunburned before, I look like I have a permanent asian glow. Even my RA thought I was intoxicated last night when I absolutely was not. So I'll probably opt to stay in and eat my yummy sour patch watermelons. On another note, when I woke up today, I felt a surge of inspiration (thanks to alice in wardrobe wonderland and their freaking glamorous postings that make me drool a ridiculous amount of saliva and my insomniac blog surfing). I'm such a big fan of the casual-messy-chic-I-just-rolled-out-of-bed-and-I-look-like-sex look. It looks so easily put together but so so impossible to replicate. I'll continue trying and trying and trying until I get this look down stone cold.

FINAL SCORE: 52-3. WE HELLA OWNED DAVIS! WE MILKED THEM COWS! The first football game was such a success even though I got massively sunburned on my face. Nevertheless, it was EPIC! The craze, the hype, the cheering, the spirit, the loyalty, the passion, the blue, the gold, EVERYTHING made the game SO amazing!! The marching band even played the killers , ahh it was definitely one of the best experiences thus far! GO BEARS!

UNDERCOVER MARTYN

Currently obsessed with Two Door Cinema Club. Ever heard of them? Probably not. They're an awesome...I guess indie electropop band? What is indie really? I mean theres indie boys, indie bands, indie movies, is it a type of culture? A brand? Or something undiscovered and lowkey? Whatever it is, THEY'RE AMAZING! It doesn't hurt that they're from the UK, in fact, it just makes they like 1000000 times better!

JUST FOUND OUT THAT TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB WILL BE IN SAN FRANCISCO ON NOVEMBER 4!!!! I'M EXTRA EXCITED BECAUSE THAT'S THE DAY AFTER MY 18TH BIRTHDAY! AHHHHH! AND YES, THIS HAD TO BE IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I. AM. SO. FREAKING. EXCITED!!!!

CAL gets a little better with time but it's still not great. I'm studying better (minus the studying and add socializing) and listening in lectures (replace listening with trying not to fall asleep). NEVERTHELESS, I'm having such a good time here if you take out the homework and shit like that. After finding out that my L&S 1 class is an utter bore and such a waste of my precious time, I've decided to drop it for....WAIT FOR IT....a thrifting class and beginning chinese dance. YES! It's going to be great! My floormates are sooo supportive, they said they would come to my performances but I'm pretty sure (ABSOLUTELY SURE) they are doing this for their own amusement. I mean if I cant even walk without tripping, dancing should be pretty entertaining. The first football game's tomorrow...and due to me and my stupid procrastinating ways, I didn't get season tickets. Such a buzzkill! So now I have to hopefully be sneaky slick like a ninja and figure out a plan to get into the student section or I'm perpetually stuck sitting next to old people who are reminiscing about their college days rather than living it. WISH ME LUCK!

I LOVE BERKELEY. I love the city, the campus, the people, the air, the trees, the food, even the ugly little squirrels. I mean, what's not to love? My opinion will probably be skewed once school starts and I'm stressed as hell, but for now, it's amazing and I'm having the time of my life :)
