GREETINGS AUTUMN

Fall is a glorious season. I've said it once and I'll gladly say it again, "FALL IS BEAUTIFUL AND YUMMY AND DELICIOUS NOM NOM NOM!" Even though the weather begs me to get in bed and cuddle with my soft cushy blankets, I must stand strong and say, "NO CAN DO YOU RIDICULOUSLY COMFY BED YOU!" Why am I being such a beezy to my bed who-only-gives-and-never-takes you ask? Because I'm in college silly! And it's time to get down to business (TO DEFEAT THE HUNS! HUAA!) Homework, lectures, group projects, tests, midterms, ETC ETC ETC really pile up when you spend your time...not wisely. SO, it's here and it's biting my ass. PFFFTT. I'll never learn will I?

So as some of you may have noticed (Come on, break out your Nancy Drew skills, you got this!), I got a haircut! I was definitely surprised at how short it is and how boyish I feel. Hopefully it'll grow on me and hopefully I'll find a way to work it. I think it will and I think I will.

This is what happens when my mother leaves me in the car for 15 minutes. PHOTOSHOOT WITH PHOTOBOOTH!

This past weekend, a couple of friends and I went on a mini road trip to UC Davis to visit some good friends. It was exactly what we needed! We did everything from running into really old friends, to trying out new froyo, to racing in roller chairs around the bike parking lot, to playing and stargazing in adult park, to smelling the smelly cows, to laughing like I haven't laughed in weeks. It. Was. Amazing. It thrilled me to no ends being able to just pick up where things left off with my friends, it's like nothing even changed. As always, going back home was great. It just hit me how fortunate I am to live close enough so I can venture home whenever I want. Even if I don't do it often, its just feels nice to have that option. Tomorrow's the start of another busy week at Cal. Let's hope I can get through it without another meltdown.

I WON'T WORRY MY LIFE AWAY

Jason Mraz got it right. Why waste precious time with such trivial matters? I surely will not. Life is fleeting by us and if we don't take the change to glance around here or there, it'll be gone before you know it. I'm just ecstatic that my midterms part one is OVER! YES! The outcomes can wait, I mean, I gave it my best shot and if it wasn't enough I can always try harder on the next test. NEW OUTLOOK ON LIFE! My weekend has officially begun. I'm contemplating just going home tonight so I can eat real food and do absolutely nothing with my fambam. Ahh that sounds like THE perfect Thursday to me. We'll see! Feeling real good today even though I am desperately sleep deprived, my life just seems...sunnier!

I haven't worn a skirt like this in suuuupaa long! It usually has something tucked in not the other way around. It's time for change. I dig it.

Tomorrow we shall embark on our expedition to Davis, how exciting! Time to enter the land of the cows, the farm animals, and the unbearable sun. I can't wait! Cow tipping anyone? (I JOKE I JOKE!)

A LA BLAIR WALDORF

For the past week or so, I was in a deep fashion rut. Waking up was extremely difficult which made getting dressed even worse, hence the long dry spell of outfitless posts and more rants. But today, even though I went to bed just as the sun graced the Earth at around 7:30AM, I was in the mood to get a little dolled up.
Be jealous of my legit glow-in-the-dark stars, I get to get an eyeful of stars every single night, fog or no fog.

Made this headband in my thrifting and revamping decal in about 20 minutes. I was totally digging those buttons, I saw them first and just HAD to work around them. I thought the gold buttons and the rusty pink looked fabulously old school together. Feedback? I feel a little bit like Blair Waldorf (IF ONLY I WAS SO LUCKY!) especially when she gets to NYU and Dan goes "Blair, no headband, were in college now." PSHH YOU, headbands are FOREVAAZZ! LIVEE ON AND ON!

TEEHEEE!

This is a feeling I haven't felt in a looooooooooooong time.
From what I remember,
I think it's called happiness.
I've dearly missed this feeling.
